It is used as an acid for acid drink, wine, fruit juice, soda water and various soft drinking, also as a color stabilizer and adjuster of acidity for fruit processing.
• Malic acid is a medicine used to clean and get the surface of a tooth ready before it is filled. It can also be used to peel the skin (usually the face) and to treat muscle or bone pain.
